A Message From The President
Hello and welcome to the Beta Lambda chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi! My name is Scheer Levy and I am so proud to be the President of this chapter! Here is just a little bit about me! I am a Business Administration student with a minor in Spanish from Huntington Beach, CA.
I knew that when I first started my freshman year at Cal Poly that I was looking to get involved and create lifelong friendships. When I attended my first AEPhi recruitment event I knew that I ran into something special. I was quickly amazed by the closeness and comfort I felt from the most welcoming and dedicated group of women, both Jewish and non-Jewish. My leadership experience in AEPhi started with me as Judaism Chair. I then served as the Sisterhood Chair where I truly got to highlight the incredible bond of our group of women and create events that led to so many amazing memories. Last year, I had the privilege of serving on our executive board as the Vice President of Finance. That experience of working so closely with our previous President helped prepare me to lead Beta Lambda in this role.
Alpha Epsilon Phi has become a defining part of my college experience. I have met my best friends, gained so much leadership experience, participated in many philanthropic activities, and become a better version of myself thanks to this chapter. I know that what I have gained from being in my chapter and Greek Life in general will guide me beyond my four years in college. As president, I am looking forward to representing my chapter and establishing strong connections with all my sisters as well as the rest of Greek Life and campus community.
Aside from Alpha Epsilon Phi and my classes, I am very involved in several clubs within the Jewish community. I also had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Valencia, Spain. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, running, and take in all that San Luis Obispo has to offer. My time in college would not be the same without the wonderful people I have met through Alpha Epsilon Phi and I hope that everyone in college finds their sense of belonging and purpose.
I hope you enjoy exploring our website!
All the best,
