Alpha Epsilon Phi prides itself on preparing its sisters to be the socially responsible women of tomorrow through partaking in various philanthropic events such as food drives, beach clean ups, tree planting, and relay for life. Since the establishment of Alpha Epsilon Phi, philanthropy has and continues to play a pivotal role within the foundation of our organization.
Sharsheret, is a national not-for-profit organization supporting young women and their families, of all Jewish backgrounds, facing breast cancer. Our mission is to offer a community of support to women diagnosed with breast cancer or at increased genetic risk, by fostering connections with networks of peers, health professionals, and related resources. Each year we host an event, Pink Shabbat, to benefit Sharsheret. The week leading up to the event is dedicated to raising awareness for breast and ovarian cancer by reaching out to the Cal Poly community.
